GoHelp ("we", "us", "our") operates the GoHelp mobile application available on iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Phone number — for OTP-based login and account identification
• Name — to personalise your experience and bookings
• Location (GPS) — to detect your city and send helpers to your address
• Address details — flat, building, society, city, pincode — to fulfil bookings
• Device information — device type and OS version, used for app improvement

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your GoHelp account
• To process, confirm and fulfil home service bookings
• To share your address with the assigned worker for service delivery only
• To send booking updates and service notifications
• To respond to your support requests
• To improve the app experience and fix issues

3. Information Sharing

We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Assigned workers — your address and name are shared with the worker assigned to your booking, solely for service delivery
• Payment processor — payments are handled by Razorpay. We never store your card or bank details
• SMS provider — your phone number is shared with MSG91 to send OTP verification codes
• Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted in India via Supabase (PostgreSQL). We use industry-standard HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Access to user data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

5. Location Data

We request access to your device location to auto-detect your city and service area. Location is used only when you actively use the app to set a service address. We do not track your location in the background.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Booking history is kept for 3 years for legal and support purposes. You can request full deletion of your account and data at any time (see Contact section below).

7. Children's Privacy

GoHelp is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent for location access via your device settings

9. Account & Data Deletion

You can permanently delete your GoHelp account and all associated data directly from the app, at any time:

1. Open the GoHelp app and log in
2. Go to Profile → Privacy & Account
3. Tap 🗑️ Delete My Account
4. Confirm twice when prompted

If you can't open the app, email us at 100rblakhmara@gmail.com from any address with your registered phone number and the subject line "Delete my GoHelp account" — we'll process it manually within 7 business days and confirm once done.

10. Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policy:

• Razorpay — payment processing (razorpay.com/privacy)
• MSG91 — SMS / OTP delivery (msg91.com/privacy-policy)
• Expo / EAS — app delivery platform (expo.dev/privacy)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
